  • You are scheduled for heart surgery to repair an aneurysm in your aorta (the main artery from your heart).
  • You have not had heart surgery before.
  • You do not have an acute aortic condition, like a tear or a blood clot in the aortic wall.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form to participate.
