Who can take part

  • You are 1 to 18 years old
  • A liver biopsy has already confirmed fatty liver with inflammation
  • Your alcohol intake is very low (under 20 g/day for boys and under 10 g/day for girls)
  • You do not have viral hepatitis (like hepatitis B or C)
  • You do not have other specific liver diseases (like autoimmune hepatitis, Wilson disease, or alpha-1 antitrypsin disease)
  • Your liver issues are not mainly caused by medicines (drug-related liver injury)
