Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a new, sudden ischemic stroke (caused by a blocked artery)
- Be eligible for clot-busting medicine given through a vein (IV thrombolysis)
- Start the IV clot-busting medicine within 4.5 hours from when symptoms began
- Have imaging-confirmed persistent blockage in specific arteries (terminal carotid, middle cerebral M1/M2, or basilar) that matches your symptoms
