Who can take part
- You must be either a healthy person, a “glaucoma suspect,” or someone with glaucoma by the study’s specific eye exam and test results.
- No first-degree family history of glaucoma if you are enrolling as a healthy volunteer.
- You must not have ever had eye pressure above 22 (mmHg) if you are enrolling as a healthy volunteer.
- You must have normal-looking optic nerve and nerve-fiber appearance on a dilated eye exam (or, if enrolling as glaucoma suspect/glaucoma, you must meet their abnormality rules).
- If you have higher eye pressure or abnormal nerve/field findings, you must meet the study’s exact thresholds and have repeat visual field testing that is in or out of the normal range as required.
- You must not have eye conditions that block the view (like significant cloudy media), eye movement/fixation problems, diabetes with eye damage, or past eye trauma/surgery (except allowed laser or uncomplicated cataract surgery over 6 months ago).
