  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 35
  • Your waist size is high (men 94+ cm, women 80+ cm)
  • You meet at least one metabolic risk marker: high triglycerides, low HDL (“good cholesterol”), high blood pressure, or higher fasting blood sugar
  • You are not allergic to dairy (since some products may contain dairy)
  • You do not smoke or use tobacco
  • You can pause certain supplements/antibiotics as required and take part in the study safely
