Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old
- You must have status epilepticus, meaning seizures last 5 minutes or longer, or keep happening without returning to your usual baseline
- Your seizures may be seen clinically (what doctors can observe) and/or on brain monitoring (electroencephalogram/EEG)
- You should not have status epilepticus caused by lack of oxygen to the brain after a cardiac arrest (postanoxic status epilepticus)
