  • You were newly diagnosed with AML (not previously treated) with enough abnormal blasts in blood or marrow
  • You’re between 15 and 60 years old
  • Your general strength/ability to function is not too low
  • Your liver and kidney tests are within required limits (some liver test changes from leukemia can still qualify)
  • Your heart scan shows adequate pumping function
  • You can sign the informed consent form
