Who can take part

  • You’re at least 18 years old.
  • A doctor has recommended ablation (vapor treatment) or an alternative to surgery.
  • Your lung tumor is small (2 cm or less) and was confirmed as cancer under a microscope.
  • The tumor is in the outer part of the lung, and treatment would need up to three vapor applications.
  • The tumor is not in/too close to key central airways or nearby major structures (like the main bronchus or esophagus).
  • Your lung function is strong enough that oxygen needs are not required, and breathing tests meet minimum thresholds.
