Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 85 years old
  • Your body weight is below BMI 40 (a common cut-off used for safety)
  • Your knee arthritis is very advanced (Kellgren and Lawrence grade 4)
  • You have tried non-surgery treatments for at least 12 weeks without enough relief
  • You can speak and understand English for study visits
  • You are willing and able to follow the study plan and return for follow-up visits
