Who can take part

  • You are 40 years or older.
  • You have knee osteoarthritis and are scheduled for a first-time total knee replacement.
  • You can understand English and give informed consent.
  • You are physically able to do home-based exercises and use a stationary bike.
  • You have not had major surgery on the same leg before.
  • Your knee arthritis is not caused by another condition like rheumatoid arthritis or an old injury.
