Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old and have primary knee osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear, not autoimmune)
  • You need knee replacement surgery and are a candidate for either robotic-assisted or manual surgery
  • You do not have inflammatory arthritis (like rheumatoid arthritis) or severe arthritis in your hip, ankle, or other knee
  • You have never had knee replacement surgery before on this knee, and no major knee injuries or surgeries on it
  • Your knee deformity (bowing inward or outward) is 15° or less, and any knee stiffness is 15° or less
  • You can attend follow-up visits and complete questionnaires about your recovery over the study period
