Who can take part

  • You must have a heart muscle condition (cardiomyopathy)
  • Your condition can be hereditary or inflammatory types, or related conditions involving the heart
  • You should be under an adult age cutoff: you must be 18 or older
  • You should not have major heart problems already present before your cardiomyopathy diagnosis
  • Your prior heart history should not include major valve disease, blocked-heart-artery disease, or serious inflammation around the heart (pericardial disease)
