Who can take part
- You are female and age 65 or older
- Your breast cancer is early stage (tumor is 3 cm or smaller) and fits T1 or T2
- Your cancer is estrogen-receptor positive (ER+) and is grade 1 or 2
- Your lymph nodes look negative on exam and scans (cN0) and you can have breast-conserving surgery plus radiation
- Your cancer type is invasive ductal carcinoma (not lobular), and it’s not only ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS)
