Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older
- Do not smoke
- If you have diabetes: you must have type 2 diabetes and only mild or no eye nerve/retina changes (no moderate/severe stage)
- You must not have had certain prior eye treatments like laser for diabetic eye disease
- Your blood pressure must be controlled (not untreated high blood pressure)
- You must be able to see well enough with glasses/contacts (best corrected vision not below 0.8 Snellen)
