Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- Your kidney cancer diagnosis is clear cell renal cell carcinoma, confirmed by tissue testing.
- Your cancer is locally advanced and not removable by surgery or has spread (metastatic).
- You have measurable disease on scans (the study doctor decides this).
- You have not previously taken a VEGF “TKI” drug (a type of targeted kidney-cancer pill) in the advanced or (sometimes) earlier setting.
- Your general health is good enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) and your blood and organ tests are adequate.
