Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) or progressive MS (but not the primary or secondary progressive forms).
  • Your MRI must show at least one active lesion (a spot of new inflammation) or a chronic active lesion (a spot that has been inflamed for a while).
  • You can be on a first-line MS treatment or no treatment at all.
  • You do not have any metal in your body, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and can lie still for the MRI.
  • You are willing and able to give informed consent.
