Who can take part
- For people with MS: be 18 to 52 years old, diagnosed with MS for less than 10 years, and able to walk on your own (EDSS score of 6 or less).
- For healthy volunteers: be 20 to 50 years old with no history of brain injury, stroke, high blood pressure, or neurological/psychiatric conditions.
- No pacemakers, metal implants, or claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) that would prevent an MRI.
- Able to lie flat on your back for a while during the scan.
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding, and not currently in another research study.
