Who can take part
- You have a known history of atrial fibrillation (or certain stroke histories, depending on the group)
- If you are in the ablation/exam group, you are scheduled for an electrophysiology test or AF ablation
- If you are in the stroke-focused group, you have had a prior stroke (not just atrial fibrillation alone)
- For the older group, your heart tracing shows normal rhythm and your heart ultrasound shows no enlarged left atrium
- You must be willing and able to sign the study consent form
