  • Ages 4 to 18 years old
  • Your child’s nearsightedness is strong enough for the study (based on vision numbers by age)
  • No other major eye problems right now, and your child can cooperate with eye exams
  • You and your child agree to join, and the child’s guardian provides consent
  • You plan to live in Shanghai for the near future and can return for follow-up visits
