Who can take part

  • You must have high myopia (severe nearsightedness).
  • You cannot have acute ischemic optic neuropathy (sudden vision loss from poor optic nerve blood flow).
  • You cannot have macular or peripapillary atrophy (thinning of the central retina or around the optic nerve).
  • You cannot have other forms of maculopathy (any other disease of the central retina).
