Who can take part

  • Your follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is higher than 35 mIU/mL
  • You have had no menstrual periods (amenorrhea) for at least 12 months
  • You are fairly inactive (less than 150 minutes of exercise per week)
  • You do not have high blood pressure (hypertension)
  • You do not have diabetes or take beta-blocker medicines
  • You do not have recent heart problems, heart surgery, kidney issues, breathing/movement problems, or you smoke
