Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your blood pressure is 120 or higher (systolic, the top number)
  • You do not have serious heart, blood vessel, or metabolic diseases (like diabetes)
  • You have not had recent belly surgery, a ruptured eardrum, or broken ribs
  • You do not have asthma with trouble sensing symptoms
  • You are willing to not eat, drink caffeine, exercise, or use alcohol for at least 3 hours before study visits
  • You have not smoked or vaped in the past year
