Who can take part

  • Your child has been diagnosed by pathology as ependymoma (WHO grade 2 or 3)
  • The tumor is only in the brain—no signs it has spread to the spine on MRI or spinal fluid testing
  • Your child cannot be receiving chemotherapy at the same time as radiation
  • Your child must be able to have MRI scans, including using contrast dye
  • Your child’s daily functioning should be fairly good (Lansky score 50–100)
