Who can take part

  • You are between 6 and 16 years old
  • You have a brain tumor that is expected to allow you to live more than 5 years
  • You are able to perform daily activities with some help (score of 60 or higher on a play or performance scale)
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy aimed at a small area of the brain
  • You have not had radiation to the same area before
  • You are not receiving radiation to the whole brain or spine, or very large doses in a few sessions
