Who can take part

  • You’re over 18 years old and can give informed consent
  • You have congenital adrenal hyperplasia caused by 21-hydroxylase deficiency and adrenal insufficiency has been diagnosed
  • Your current steroid (glucocorticoid) treatment has been stable, and you’re willing to switch based on the study’s random assignment
  • You do not have serious problems affecting the brain, lungs, liver/bile, pancreas, kidneys, or severe long-term diarrhea
  • You do not have alcohol/drug abuse, significant uncontrolled mental illness, or past known allergy to this dual-release hydrocortisone
