Who can take part

  • You’re over 18 years old
  • You have confirmed head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC)
  • Your cancer is stage III, IVA, or IVB, and it cannot be fully removed with surgery (or you can’t have surgery)
  • No spread to distant organs (no stage IVC / distant metastases)
  • You can receive standard chemotherapy with cisplatin at the same time as radiation
  • Your scan and treatment plan must fit radiochemotherapy for cure; no prior head-and-neck radiation
