Who can take part
- You’re over 18 years old
- You have confirmed head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC)
- Your cancer is stage III, IVA, or IVB, and it cannot be fully removed with surgery (or you can’t have surgery)
- No spread to distant organs (no stage IVC / distant metastases)
- You can receive standard chemotherapy with cisplatin at the same time as radiation
- Your scan and treatment plan must fit radiochemotherapy for cure; no prior head-and-neck radiation
