Interim PET-CT scan to assess anti-PD-1 treatment in melanoma

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have advanced melanoma confirmed by tissue biopsy, not just suspected
  • Your melanoma should be non-BRAF-mutated or have BRAF types other than the specific BRAFV600 mutation (or “wild type”) as the trial defines
  • You are scheduled to receive anti-PD-1 immunotherapy (nivolumab or pembrolizumab)
  • You can safely have a PET-CT scan (no severe claustrophobia and diabetes is well controlled)
  • You do not have certain exclusions like eye/mucosal melanoma or untreated infections (HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C)
