Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have advanced melanoma confirmed by tissue biopsy, not just suspected
- Your melanoma should be non-BRAF-mutated or have BRAF types other than the specific BRAFV600 mutation (or “wild type”) as the trial defines
- You are scheduled to receive anti-PD-1 immunotherapy (nivolumab or pembrolizumab)
- You can safely have a PET-CT scan (no severe claustrophobia and diabetes is well controlled)
- You do not have certain exclusions like eye/mucosal melanoma or untreated infections (HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C)
