- You are being considered for a liver transplant due to advanced cirrhosis, with MELD score over 15
- You do not have medical reasons that would normally rule out liver transplant
- Your liver failure is not caused by active, spreading cancer not approved for transplant exception
- You must have a dependable support plan for transplant care and follow treatment rules (including no alcohol/narcotic use)
- You do not have uncontrolled infection or untreated serious illness that would prevent transplant
- You must not be too frail on walking tests and thinking/memory checks
