Who can take part

  • You have colorectal cancer that has spread to your lungs and the lung tumors can be removed or destroyed with surgery or other methods.
  • You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG performance status of 2 or less).
  • Your blood counts and kidney function are within acceptable levels.
  • Your lungs are healthy enough for surgery, as determined by your surgeon.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation in the last 4 weeks (or 6 weeks for certain drugs).
  • You do not have brain metastases, severe nerve damage, or allergies to chemotherapy drugs.
