Who can take part

  • You have confirmed prostate cancer on biopsy (adenocarcinoma).
  • Your prostate cancer grade is in the Gleason 6–7 range (including 3+4 or 4+3) and your PSA is within a specified limit.
  • Your PSA blood test timing fits the study rules, especially if you took finasteride or dutasteride recently.
  • Your symptoms are mild (International Prostate Symptom Score under 16) and your prostate is not too large (under 80 cc).
  • Your overall health is good enough for treatment (Zubrod performance status 0–1).
  • You are able to sign informed consent before starting the study treatment.
