Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and currently in cardiogenic shock
  • Your blood pressure is being supported with medications like norepinephrine and/or dobutamine for 3 to under 24 hours
  • You have signs that organs are not getting enough blood, such as high lactate, reduced urine, weak skin color refill, low oxygen in blood, or abnormal blood gas measures
  • Your doctors think your blood volume is adequate (not dangerously dehydrated)
  • You have not used levosimendan in the last 15 days
