Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with cardiogenic shock (a condition where the heart can't pump enough blood) at a specific stage (B or C)
  • You have at least one abnormal lab result (like high lactate, worse kidney function, liver markers, or high NT-proBNP)
  • You are on at most one medicine to support your heart function or blood pressure
  • You are not on a high dose of norepinephrine (a blood pressure medicine) and your blood pressure is above 65 mmHg
