Single high-dose MRI-guided radiation for intermediate prostate cancer

Who can take part

  • You agree to sign the study consent form.
  • Your prostate cancer has been confirmed by biopsy as adenocarcinoma with ISUP grade 1 to 3.
  • Your cancer must be localized intermediate-risk (not advanced), based on standard prostate cancer risk rules.
  • Your PSA is 20 or less, and you have not taken hormone (anti-cancer) therapy before.
  • Your MRI shows disease limited to the prostate (cT1c to cT2c) with no signs of spread to nearby lymph nodes or distant areas; age 18+ and able to do daily activities at level 0–2.
  • Your urinary symptoms score (IPSS) is 15 or less, and you can safely have required devices (like a Foley catheter and a rectal balloon) during treatment; prostate size estimate must be 100 grams or less.
