Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 25 years old
  • You take insulin (by injections or an insulin pump) and have for more than 12 months
  • Your diabetes control is not at goal (high HbA1c) or you had DKA or uncontrolled blood sugar admissions in the last 12 months
  • You have not used RT-CGM before (you may have used “flash” glucose monitoring for short periods)
  • Your kidney function is not severely reduced (eGFR is 30 or higher)
  • You are not pregnant or planning pregnancy, and you are not breastfeeding
