Check urine for kidney cancer signals before or after surgery

Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study looks for tiny substances in urine (called exosomes) to see if they can help identify clear cell kidney cancer. It compares urine samples from people having planned kidney surgery with people having surgery without a scheduled plan.

New scan to find kidney cancer after surgery

This trial tests a special PET scan to see if it can better find leftover kidney cancer after surgery compared to a standard CT scan. You may qualify if you had kidney cancer surgery within the last 4-16 weeks and are at high risk of the cancer coming back.

NCT07101900Enrolling by invitation· Phase 2
Better imaging for kidney cancer before surgery

This trial tests a new PET/CT scan that uses a special tracer to find clear cell kidney cancer. If you are scheduled for kidney tumor removal, this scan may help your surgeon see the cancer more clearly before surgery.

Imaging test for clear cell kidney cancer before surgery

This study tests a special imaging agent (89Zr-TLX250) to help doctors see clear cell kidney cancer during PET/CT scans. It is for people in China who have a single small kidney mass and are already scheduled for surgery to remove it.

Study biomarkers in kidney cancer and healthy people

This study looks at blood or body measures called “biomarkers” to understand how lack of oxygen and body energy changes in clear cell kidney cancer. It compares people with kidney cancer to carefully matched healthy volunteers to see what patterns might help improve understanding or future care.
