Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer.
  • Your cancer is considered intermediate-high risk, high risk, or has spread to certain nearby areas or soft tissue.
  • You are scheduled to have surgery to remove the kidney tumor.
  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are in generally good health (able to care for yourself), with no serious heart or lung problems.
  • You have not had previous chemotherapy or radiation for your kidney cancer.
