  • You can sign a written consent form and speak fluent English
  • You are not currently using drugs (this may be checked by history and a urine test)
  • You can safely take part in brain scans (no certain metal/implants, shunts, or severe claustrophobia)
  • You can safely receive the brain stimulation (no implant or device contraindications, and no seizure risk history)
  • You do not take certain seizure-risk medicines or drugs that reduce the stimulation’s effect
