Who can take part

- You have type 2 diabetes and your most recent A1c (a blood sugar measure) is between 7.5% and 10%.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 30 and 50.
- You have been on at least two diabetes medications for 3 months or more, and your blood sugar is still not below 7.5%.
- You must be willing to follow study rules, including regular follow-ups and not taking certain medications or supplements.
- You have not had certain stomach surgeries or conditions, and you are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
