Who can take part
- You have breast cancer that is classified as locally advanced, confirmed by biopsy or cell sample.
- You have not started your first cancer treatment yet, and your planned treatment is chemotherapy (and possibly chemo plus radiation) before surgery.
- You have measurable disease that can be seen on ultrasound, or you had an MRI within the last 28 days.
- You are well enough to do usual activities most of the time (ECOG 0 or 1).
- You are expected to live at least 6 months and can provide written consent before any study tests.
- You do not have health or mental health problems that would make it hard to follow the study plan.
