Test drug safety in adults with multiple system atrophy

Who can take part

  • Your scan (DaTscan SPECT) shows Parkinson-type nerve loss in the brain’s striatum
  • You have a diagnosis of multiple system atrophy (either parkinson-type or cerebellar-type)
  • You can walk by yourself for at least 10 meters (about 30 feet)
  • Your thinking/memory test (MoCA) must be 25 or higher
  • No known genetic cause of Parkinsonism/ataxia in your family, and you don’t have that known cause
