Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a PDA (a heart blood-connection present after birth)
  • A heart doctor feels a PDA closure procedure is indicated for you
  • Your weight at the time of the device procedure must be under 2 kilograms
  • You must be at least 3 days old when the device procedure happens
  • You should not already have aortic narrowing (coarctation) or left lung artery narrowing
