  • You are 18 years old or older
  • Your stroke is confirmed by brain MRI and a new area seen on a CT scan
  • You start the clot-removal procedure within 24 hours of symptom onset
  • You are well enough to do the trial activities (good performance status)
  • You can sign the trial consent form
