  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are coming to the emergency room with symptoms of a stroke or a stroke-like event.
  • You are receiving one of these treatments: clot removal (mechanical thrombectomy), clot-busting medication, or standard medical care.
  • You or a legal representative can agree to join the study.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have an autoimmune disease that could affect the study results.
