3T MRI study of hand and forearm blood flow

This study uses a powerful MRI scanner (3 Tesla) to measure blood flow in the arteries of the hand and forearm under normal and certain medical conditions. You may qualify if you’re an adult and can safely have an MRI, either as a healthy volunteer or someone needing specific hand/arm surgery.

Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Be willing to receive MRI after understanding the study and signing consent
- Have no reasons you can’t safely undergo MRI (MRI contraindications)
- If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you can’t join
- You should not have other upper-limb artery problems—except for people getting a hand transplant or certain reconstruction (radial forearm flap)
