Who can take part

  • You have recurrent pulmonary TB that is smear-positive
  • You can be an adult or a child (no age limit)
  • You can and agree to sign a written consent form (or have a guardian consent if needed)
  • For this added group: you live within 5 km of a health facility with a doctor
  • Your TB test does not show initial rifampicin resistance on Xpert MTB/RIF
