Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.

This Phase 3 study tests a specific plan that combines chemotherapy (and sometimes targeted medicines) with radiation before surgery for one breast. It may help shrink breast cancer and improve treatment timing, based on how well tumors respond.

NCT05216900Recruiting
Breast reconstruction with radiation given before surgery

This study looks at how breast reconstruction works when radiation is planned around the time of surgery, including in some people before surgery depending on lymph node results. It may help improve safety and outcomes for people needing mastectomy and chest/radiation therapy.

NCT06362616Recruiting
Pre-surgery partial breast radiation for recurrent breast cancer

This trial tests a shorter course of radiation to just part of the breast before surgery for women who have had breast cancer return in the same breast. It's for those who have already had radiation to that breast and have a specific type of cancer (ER+, HER2-).

Chemotherapy plus radiation before surgery for advanced breast cancer

This trial tests adding radiation therapy to chemotherapy before surgery for people with locally advanced breast cancer that did not shrink enough with chemo alone. It may help improve outcomes for those with luminal (HER2-negative) or triple-negative types.

NCT06914440Recruiting· Phase 2
Radiation and immunotherapy before surgery for HR+/HER2- breast cancer

This trial is testing a new treatment approach for patients with a certain type of breast cancer (HR+/HER2-). It combines radiation therapy with chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug before the patient's main surgery, to see if it can shrink or eliminate the tumor more effectively.

NCT07188246Recruiting· Phase 2
Radiation and immunotherapy before chemo for breast cancer

This trial tests a new approach for breast cancer that combines a short course of focused radiation (SBRT) with an injection of the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab directly into the tumor, followed by standard chemotherapy before surgery. The goal is to see if this combination helps shrink the tumor more effectively before surgery.

NCT04679454Recruiting
One-dose pre-surgery radiation for early breast cancer
