Who can take part
- You are age 70 or older.
- Your breast cancer has spread (metastatic) and your tumor tests show hormone-receptor positive (estrogen and/or progesterone) and HER2-negative.
- Your cancer has progressed after prior endocrine therapy, and/or after palbociclib or ribociclib, or chemotherapy.
- You are well enough for treatment: expected to live more than 6 months, can swallow pills, and can understand English or Spanish.
- Your blood and organ tests are strong enough (for example, low white blood cells and low hemoglobin are not too severe).
- No significant lung inflammation and no active infections; your brain metastases (if you have them) must be stable and not needing urgent treatment.
