Who can take part
- Ages 18 to 75, and you have resectable stage III–IV acral melanoma (melanoma that can be surgically removed) with at least one measurable tumor spot
- You have not taken any anti-cancer medicines yet for this melanoma (no prior anti–PD-1/PD-L1 or VEGF-targeted pills/therapy)
- You can provide tumor tissue from a biopsy (before surgery) or tissue removed during surgery for genetic testing
- You must have an “activity” score (ECOG) of 0 or 1 and be expected to live at least 12 weeks
- Blood, liver, kidney, and heart tests must be within required limits, and you must be able to swallow pills normally
