Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have HIV and your test for toxoplasma antibodies (IgG) is positive
- Your symptoms and brain scan show one or more brain lesions that fit cerebral toxoplasmosis
- You have taken dexamethasone for 3 days or less before joining
- You (or a close relative, if you cannot consent) can sign a consent form
- You have not used anti-toxoplasma treatment for more than 5 days before joining
