Who can take part

  • You are 21 years old or older.
  • You have started TB treatment within the last 7 days or are about to start.
  • You have been diagnosed with TB meningitis (definite, probable, or possible).
  • Your liver function (ALT) is less than 3 times the normal upper limit.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and have no active cancer or autoimmune disease on immune-suppressing drugs.
  • You are not allergic to tetracycline antibiotics (like doxycycline).
